SERVICES OFFERED

H.O.W.Co. will provide funding for medical services, dental services, psychiatric services, counseling services, substance abuse treatment, prescription medications, legal services, food, clothing, and transportation. Each of these services will be described in detail in the following paragraphs:

MEDICAL – In our projected budget, H.O.W.Co. intends to assist in providing medical services. Funding for these services would include physical examinations for admissions to treatment programs. Also, these funds would help in testing, diagnoses, and treatment of HIV, AIDS, and other STD’s. Emergency and other medical treatment(s) would be approved on an individual basis, and in consideration of the financial ability of the medical budget to afford such funding. Doctors will be solicited to become approved vendors of H.O.W.Co. and will receive vouchers from approved clients at the time of service. The doctor will complete the voucher and return it to H.O.W.Co. for payment.

DENTAL – In our projected budget, H.O.W.Co. intends to assist in providing dental services. Funding for these services would include preventive, general, and emergency dentistry. Dentists will be solicited to become approved vendors of H.O.W.Co. and will receive vouchers from approved clients at the time of service. The dentist will complete the voucher and return it to H.O.W.Co. for payment.

PSYCHIATRIC – In our projected budget, H.O.W.Co. intends to assist in providing psychiatric services. Funding for these services would include testing, evaluation, diagnoses, and treatment of mental disorders, aside from substance abuse. Clients of H.O.W.Co. would be required to provide documentation of at least 6 months clean in order to qualify for funding for psychiatric services. Doctors will be solicited to become approved vendors of H.O.W.Co. and will receive vouchers from approved clients at the time of service. The doctor will complete the voucher and return it to H.O.W.Co. for payment.

COUNSELING – In our projected budget, H.O.W.Co. intends to assist in providing counseling services. Funding for these services would include individual, couples, family, and group counseling services, other than substance abuse counseling. Counselors will be solicited to become approved vendors of H.O.W.Co. and will receive vouchers from approved clients at the time of service. The counselor will complete the voucher and return it to H.O.W.Co. for payment.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE  –  In our projected budget,  H.O.W.Co.  intends  to assist in  providing substance abuse treatment. Funding for these services would include detox services, inpatient services, outpatient services and residential services. Programs will be solicited to become approved vendors of H.O.W.Co. and will receive vouchers from approved clients at the time of service. The program will complete the voucher and return it to H.O.W.Co. for payment. This budget will also provide, for approved vendors, funding for programming and physical  improvements, in order to provide better services.

PHARMACY – In our projected budget, H.O.W.Co. intends to assist in providing prescription medications. Funding for these services would include partial or full payment of psychiatric or medical prescriptions. Pharmacies will be solicited to become approved vendors of H.O.W.Co. and will receive vouchers from approved clients at the time of service. The pharmacy will complete the voucher and return it to H.O.W.Co. for payment.

LEGAL – In our projected budget, H.O.W.Co. intends to assist in providing legal services. Funding for these services would include legal services and DUI education. Legal services will include criminal, civil, family and child custody, bankruptcy, personal injury, and corporate. DUI services will fund required evaluations and treatment, as well as DUI schools, and license reinstatement fees. Attorneys will be solicited to become approved vendors of H.O.W.Co. and will receive vouchers from approved clients at the time of service. The attorney will complete the voucher and return it to H.O.W.Co. for payment.

FOOD – In our projected budget, H.O.W.Co. intends to assist in providing food. Funding for these services would include purchases made at local retailers and food banks.

CLOTHING – In our projected budget, H.O.W.Co. intends to assist in providing clothing and linens. Funding for these services would include purchases made at local retailers and clothing banks.

TRANSPORTATION – In our projected budget, H.O.W.Co. intends to assist in meeting transportation needs. Funding for these services would include providing weekly public transportation passes. Special considerations will be made for transportation funding on an individual, as needed basis.

SPECIAL NEEDS – In our projected budget, H.O.W.Co to assist in providing special needs services. Funding for these services would include any services not described in the aforementioned categories.
